Callum Fawcett has spent his career working in the cycle and hospitality industries running outdoor mountain bike events, assisting in community park and trail development, for over 30 years.

While living in the Waikato he created his own retail and service oriented bicycle shop branded Mountain to Road Cycles in Te Awamutu. During the 9 years building the brand and running the shop he championed local riding initiatives including hosting free helmet and bike safety workshops for local schools and clubs, working with local Council supporting the launch of a Skate-Bike park and the shared cycle path connecting Kihikihi and Te Awamutu. His efforts are driven by a desire to make cycling more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Now living in Little River on Banks Peninsula, Callum remains an active business owner and has recently sold a coffee and food business after 5 years. He is returning to the Cycle Industry running Mountain Road Outdoors. His interests include: Road cycling, skiing, mountain biking, kayaking - basically all things outdoors.

With extensive hands-on bike expertise and real-world experience for over 30 years, Callum adopts an action-oriented approach, reacting swiftly to fix mechanical and logistical problems. He has energy and enthusiasm to show people his back yard,and puts people at the center of everything he does.
